Some relief may be on the way Sunday as a cool front brings northeast winds and drops temperatures into the mid to upper 90's.
Be sure to be safe when dealing with the heat. Try to get your stuff outdoors done by 11 am but if you are out in the afternoon heat....limit your time outside in direct sunlight and stay hydrated with water and sports drinks. Check on the elderly and make sure they are staying cool and provide any outdoor pets with shade and plenty of water.
