WINK -- Wink-Loving ISD has named a lone finalist in their search for a new superintendent.
According to current WLISD superintendent Dr. Dewitt Smith, Wink High School Principal Scotty Carman was named as the finalist in a meeting Monday night.
Carman's move to superintendent will be final on June 30, and his first day will be on July 1. Dr. Smith says that he will be working with him during the transition.
Dr. Smith will be leaving the district to take the Executive Director position for Region 18.
