Alpine -- UPDATE: The bond for Robert Fabian has been set for $500,000.
According to Brewster County Sheriff Ronny Dodson, if Fabian makes bond he will have several conditions, including reporting daily to the Brewster County Sheriff's Office.
Another condition was that Fabian surrender his passport.
Fabian was magistrated by Justice of the Peace Gilbert Valenzuela.
Liz Rogers Roberts, attorney for Fabian, declined to comment on the bond being set.
Robert Fabian, former boyfriend of missing Sul Ross student Zuzu Verk is set to meet with a judge Monday.
A judge will be meeting with Fabian at the Brewster County Jail instead of a courtroom.
According to the Alpine Police Department, the meeting is scheduled for Monday morning.
Fabian was charged and arrested Saturday morning for tampering with or fabricating physical evidence by concealing a human corpse in connection to the Zuzu Verk case.
The arrest came after a body was found Friday morning by a U.S. Border Patrol officer who was working on a lead regarding illegal immigrants. According to police, the evidence at the scene matches features with Zuzu though no formal identification was made.
Deputies with the Brewster County Sheriff's Office then transported the remains to Denton on Sunday to be positively identified. The identification is expected to be announced sometime early this week.
