MIDLAND -- Students at Midland Charter Academy enjoyed a day of dancing and fun.
The school held a dance rally to signify the end of National School Choice Week.
According to faculty School Choice Week is what the teachers and staff advocate.
This week is important to celebrate because the students who attend Midland Academy made the choice to attend.
“This is really exciting for the kids they actually have a little surprise coming up that they don't know about so we're excited they worked hard learning the dance we're just excited to see them groove,” Teacher at Midland Academy, Sara Wildes said.
The dance rally also benefited the Pasta for Pennies program put on by Olive Garden, which has raised more than $31,000,000 thanks to the efforts of students, parents, teachers and school administrators just like those today at Midland Charter Academy.
