Local church hosting free wild game dinner

First United Methodist Church Odessa is hosting their 9th Annual Wild Game Dinner on Saturday, January 27th, 2018.

Registration opens at 5:45 PM, Meal at 6:30 PM

The evening will include a free meal with door prizes for several age groups (under 12 years of age, 12 - 16 years, 17 - 18 years, and 18+ years of age), and a presentation by the Texas Brigades.

Door Prizes include 2 gun packages, a bow package, flashlights, fishing poles, knives, walkie-talkies, and more.

Menu: Smothered venison steak and venison sausage, quail, wild boar, pozole, corn bake, jalapeño poppers, homemade biscuits, beans, and more

First United Methodist Church started the Wild Game Dinner in January of 2009. Their reason: "The Wild Game Dinner has always been a free event for men of all ages; it’s a way for First United Methodist to simply bless the men in our community regardless of their age, occupation, or religious outlook."
