From one desert to another, Julia is from Phoenix, Arizona and is a proud Sun Devil.

Prior to working at CBS7, she worked with a PBS affiliate in Arizona.

She has worked for various new stations, papers, and magazines.

Initially, she wanted to go into sports as she loved diving into the untold stories of athletes.

It was later that she realized her passion was telling the stories of others.

She is a Hearst winner and an SPJ regional winner.

When she’s not at work she likes to go camping, spend time with family, and play with any dog in her vicinity.
